Dionysos Mask

This game was made during the Global Game Jam 2026. The theme for this game jam was "mask".

You're an archaeologist who entered an old underground maze to find an artifact. A mask. After finding it and picking it up, the entrance from which the protagonist entered closes. He is now trapped and needs to escape, but many pathways in the old maze are blocked. Luckily the old mask has magic properties. Every time he puts it on, he is sent back in time, where the maze is still intact and is actually solvable. However, in the past there is also the old guardian of the maze, so going to the past is a bit dangerous.
